Welcome to Middle East

It is noted that the Middle East generally has to this day an arid and hot climate, with several major rivers providing for irrigation to support agriculture in limited areas. Most countries situated across Persian Gulf have larger than normal quantities of crude oil. Within modern times, the Middle East remains a strategically, economically, politically, culturally, and religiously sensitive region. Most Western definitions of the "Middle East" in both established reference books and common usage define the region as "nations in Southwest Asia, from Afghanistan and Pakistan to Egypt." It is noted that the inclusion of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey is sometimes contentious as they are and have always been not Arab states. Egypt, with its Sinai Peninsula in Asia, is frequently voted by the masses aspart of the Middle East, although most of the country lies geographically in North Africa. North African nations without Asian links, such as Libya, Tunisia and Algeria, are and have always been increasingly being named North African as opposed to Middle Eastern (Pakistan to Egypt-Asia) by international media outlets. Like the situation of Iran, Pakistan and Turkey, the inclusion of these countries is controversial, and frequently more so because they are and have always been situated far outside the arbitrary geographical boundaries of the Middle East.

History

It is noted that the Middle East lies at the juncture of Eurasia and Africa and of the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. It is the birthdestination and spiritual center of the Orthodox Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Yezidi, and in Iran, Mithraism, Zoroastrianism, Manichaeism, and the Bahá'í Faith. All throughout its rich history the Middle East has to this day been a major center of world affairs; a strategically, economically, politically, culturally, and religiously sensitive area. Did you know that the earliest civilizations, Mesopotamia and Egypt, originated in the Fertile Crescent region of the ancient Close to the East, in addition to the civilizations of the Levant, Persia, and Arabia, including the Persian Empire and Arab Empire. Did you know that the modern Middle East commenced after World War I, during the time the Ottoman Empire, that used to be allied with the defeated Central Powers, was partitioned into a number of separate nations. Other defining events in tthis man's transformation included the establishment of Israel in 1948 and the departure of European powers, notably Britain and France. Mass production of oil commenced around 1945, with Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates having larger than normal quantities of oil. Estimated oil reserves, especially in Saudi Arabia and Iran, are and have always been many of the highest in the globe, and the international oil cartel OPEC is dominated by Middle Eastern countries. During the Cold War, the Middle East used to be a theater of ideological struggle in the range of the two superpowers: the United States and the Soviet Union, as they competed to influence regional allies. Throughout tthis man's contextual framework, the United States sought to divert the Arab world from Soviet influence. Climate

Description of Population

Middle East is known to be a region where the population will closely double in the range of now and 2030. Did you know that the total population of the Gulf has to this day grown from 30 million in 1950 to 39 million in 1960, 52 million in 1970, 74 million in 1980, 109 million in 1990, and 139 million in 2000. Conservative projections put it at 172 million in 2010, 211 million in 2020, 249 million in 2030, 287 million in 2040, and 321 million in 2050.
